You are probably wondering what byts n pieces is all about. Let me explain. I have been approached to put some of my thoughts, ideas, and writings on a blog. I did not want to be one-dimensional or blog about only one subject. I wanted to take “byts”, in other words, “bits” and playing on the computer term, “bytes” as well as pieces. So the blog will be about bits and pieces of everything that I am and think. I hope and trust that it will be an encouragement to you at the very least, and will inform you as well.

If you are interested, here is a little more about who I am:

I (James W. Stewart) was born and raised in South Africa. I was born in the gold mining town of Springs and grew up in Rustenburg, the platinum capital of the world in the western part of South Africa. My family came to South Africa circa 1875 from Scotland, Ireland, France and Holland.
